Searching For Biological Family
DNA Search in Korea
I am beginning to complete the application to do a DNA search in Korea. The application consists of giving my Korean name and American name along with all my adoption paperwork to show that I was born in Korea and adopted in the US. Then I will have to go to the Korean Consulate in Houston so they can administer the DNA test and mail it to Korea. My hopes are if there is any family connection, I would be able to meet them when I go to Korea in 2024. I did a DNA test in the US and the closest links are 4th cousins and the numbers weren’t really that close. So we’ll see!
