Off To Busan
Day 3 of Our Trip to Korea
On Wednesday, we began the day by going to the Police Station so that Marit and Susie could get a DNA test done in Korea. I had a Korean DNA test done at the Korean Consulate in Houston in December of 2023. My results showed nothing. Korea only does DNA testing for biological parents. However, we learned that they will open it up to siblings soon.
After the police station, we went to the Seoul KTX Train Station to eat lunch and get on the KTX Bullet Train, which took us to Busan in 2 hours. It would have taken us close to 5 hours if we had taken a bus or car. Once in Busan, we went to our hotel, Shilla Stay, and settled in. We relaxed and had an evening out exploring Busan. We went to Haeundae Beach and walked around the streets of Busan.
Oooooooo! I got to spend a sweet 24 hours in Busan, awaiting a flight home after a submarine deployment. Loved. It. 10/10 would go back.
