Adoption Awareness Month
It has been a while since I have written anything on my blog. A lot has happened, meaning work and life! But I should share something since November is National Adoption Awareness Month. What does that mean?
Did you know that President Clinton named November National Adoption Month in 1995, and it has been recognized ever since? This month, I have been reflecting a lot about my adoption because of my trip to Korea in May and a documentary shown in August called “South Korea’s Adoption Reckoning” on PBS Frontline. I invite you to watch it if you haven’t yet. Let me know your thoughts and questions. I have so many questions, thoughts, and concerns about my adoption. I am connected to so many Adoptees (Korean and others) worldwide, and listening to their stories, I am learning a lot about so many things.
