Ten million people reside in Seoul! Hustle and bustle of people walking and pushing trying to get to their destinations. We took almost every mode of transportation you could think of. From walking, to taxis, to city buses, subways, tour bus, trains, airplane to get to Korea, and even a cable car (air cruise). No bicycles or boats. When riding in public transportation, people are quiet, either on their phones or snoozing, or just looking around. Everything is clean here in Korea, hardly any trash around and hardly any garbage cans around.
The weirdest thing for me to get used to was public restrooms. More on this topic later. We were told housing is super expensive here and hard to find. And minimum wage is lower than the US. Yet people live here and live simply. The shops are small and can get crowded. But the food is fresh and delicious and spicy.
It is definitely a different culture!
