In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:1a; 10b NIV
The country where I was born is a beautiful place. I have had the opportunity to visit three different times, and all those times, I have been in awe of its beauty. I see God's handiwork from the mountains to the city, beaches, and the countryside. The places I have seen in South Korea are breathtaking.
South Korea is called the "Land of the Morning Calm" due to its tranquil and picturesque landscape, particularly in the mornings. The name reflects the country's natural beauty, featuring stunning mountains, clear waters, and serene countryside. The hanja for Joseon has been translated into English as "morning calm" and sometimes rather as "morning freshness" or "morning radiance," and Korea's English nickname became "The Land of the Morning Calm."

Notice: Take a moment to notice the beauty of the country you were born in.
Creator God, thank you for the beauty of your creation. Forgive us when we don’t steward the land. Help us take time to notice the splendor, whether in the mountains, beaches, forests, or cities. In your name we pray, Amen.
This is a beautiful video. I noticed that although it is about morning calm, the video shows people moving at a fast speed and fast moving cars on the highway. I know this is to show the contrast between ancient and modern, but still.....Also, now I have to find out about k-pop!
It is so very beautiful. I loved being on one of your trips there - such great memories. I miss Korea.
