DMZ and the Korean War Memorial

What a day! We began early in the morning boarding a charter bu to head to the DMZ which is only one hour from Seoul. This particular place that is safe for tourists to go only allow 50 charter buses in a day. So this a first come first served basis. Luckily we got there early enough. To hear about the history of North Korea, it is so sad that this country is where it’s at today.

Seeing all the places and hearing many stories about the sites left me pondering many questions. We also went to the Korean War Memorial. A very sobering experience there.

I will write more on this when I return home as writing on an iPad in a short amount of time is hard. But it was a good day to reminisce of the historical facts about Korea.
