I always wondered what it was like in Korea in 1972 when I was born. I ran across this YouTube video that captures some of what it was like then. I assume this person served at Camp Casey and took these pictures and then made them into a video. The home screen here “Tongducheon” is the homeplace of my Orphanage “Yangju Babies Home”.

These images are so thought-provoking - some interesting, some beautiful, some strange. What a gift to find this of the time and place where you were born. I'm sad that you and others were parted from this beautiful place.
Fascinating video....hard to remember that we have a cease fire but not a peace treaty. Such a volatile place to live with your country divided. Thanks for sharing.
