Happy New Year! It has been quite some time since I have updated my blog. What have I done since then? Well, I took a vacation to Hawaii with some friends. I was supposed to see Maui but due to the fires, we ended up vacationing on Oahu. Then I came home with COVID which only lasted a week thank goodness. The day I returned from Hawaii, I picked up my adopted 3-month-old black shih tzu (who is nothing like Peanut - my last shih tzu). The fall months brought a lot of work in my ministry, training a new puppy, and tending to my health (being diagnosed with Grave’s disease, being sent to a cardiologist, and being recommended to purchase hearing aids as well as having my eustachian tubes dilated). Also, I submitted my DNA to the Korean Consulate in Houston in hopes of finding any relatives in Korea. (More on this in another blog post).
So what’s next? I am continuing to care for my now 7-month-old Shih Tzu (who seems to have a lot of health issues). Ministry continues to be as busy as ever. I was supposed to lead a tour to the Holy Land but that has gotten canceled. I am still planning to go to Korea in the Spring. So I have decided to continue to blog when I can. It may not be daily but on occasion when something newsworthy comes up. And I hope to blog leading up to my trip and during my trip to Korea.
And so here’s to new experiences… in the new year!
