Angel’s Haven was founded in 1959 by Pastor Sung Ryeol, who cared for five orphans after the Korean War. We toured the facilities, heard about the history, and saw the babies and children interact with each other. It was sad to see these children and know that the possibility of them not being adopted. Quite a few grow up in the orphanage but are supported even after they graduate high school and into their college career.
We also walked along the Chenggyecheon Stream where we encountered strollers enjoying their day.
We experienced Gwangjang Market, where we ate lunch and shopped.
In the evening we went to the Han River Fountain Show.
I am impressed that the orphans are supported even after they graduate from high school and college.
I am so grateful for your open and generous heart. Thank you for sharing this with us.
